Hi Blog! A few classes ago, I had to make a film it was about you and a partner would be given a word in class. Our task was to create a short 60–90 second story (not just a montage) that shows the meaning of the word. We could use images, text, and symbols to convey it, but no sound. It must be a realistic story that is filmed in the school setting.
My partner and I began with a brainstorming session, which gave us time to create a brief idea of what we are going to do for our project. Our word we got was concerned, so we decided to do a student who is stalking another student, but the person is just concerned and not scared but also vigilante as well. We did a variety of shot and our most used shot was medium and close up shits for our whole project. In my opinion. these shots help utilized the audience understanding of the emotions and body language we are trying to convey in our short film.

To Add, the software we used was adobe Premiere pro, since I'm in TV production i already knew how to use adobe so it was easy since I already learned it. I added some fade transitions and cuts to make the film smoother.
Lastly, we executed our message out well I had a few friends tell me the message of the project and they all said it was about a stalker which was correct. The main thing that can improve is the shots some shots weren't correct we had an over the shoulder shot that wasn't correct at all. The Pov shot wasn't correct as well it didn't look like a POV shot at first until we said it was which was not good. The facial expressions of my partner were a bit off some didn't give that concerned look while others did. Overall, our project in my opinion didn't convey "concerned" at all but the story was clear.
