Post-Production #2

Welcome back!! this is the second day of editing I have imported my clips into Premiere Pro from my SD card it was a long process importing the clips because there were so many clips, but I finally was able to do it!!

Now that the real editing has begun, I have imported all of my clips into the timeline and started cutting them down to making sure everything runs smoothly. I focused on trimming unnecessary footage and tightening the edits so that each shot flows naturally into the next. This process helps keep the introduction engaging and prevents the scenes from feeling too long or unpolished.

I have also started color grading the clips to give the film a more cinematic look. By adjusting the colors, contrast, and lighting, I am working to create a consistent visual style that matches the mood of the story and makes the footage feel more professional.

In addition, I need to add foley audio for the sisters’ laughter because the microphone did not capture it clearly during filming. Adding this sound in post-production will help make the scene feel more natural and realistic, while also strengthening the emotional connection between the characters.

Post-Production #1

Hi Cambridge! So today I have started the editing process on Premiere Pro it has been going smoothly but I still have to do a lot of editing and color grading. This is what I have so far.

In the picture, you can see the film title along with the timeline where I have begun editing the introduction and opening scene of the film. During this stage of editing, I carefully added multiple sound effects, such as the sound of ocean waves and seagulls, to help establish the beach setting and create a realistic atmosphere. I also included the voices of the sisters in the background, which adds emotion and helps introduce their relationship early in the film opening.

All of the audio elements work well together and blend smoothly, creating a calm yet slightly emotional tone that draws the audience in. I used fade-ins and fade-outs on the introduction texts to make smoother. This allows the title to appear clearly on screen without feeling abrupt and helps the transition into the first scene feel smooth and natural. Overall, the editing choices in the introduction help set the mood of the film and prepare the audience for the story that follows.

Blog of our Choice… Music

My partner and I are now in the editing/filming process!

We have now filmed a bit of our project and are starting to edit what we have.

One important aspect of any film is the music. My partner and I thought long and hard if we wanted to incorporate music into our film opening. We were leaning towards no but at the end we ultimately think it will add a big part to our film opening.

At first we did not want to have any music because we wanted it to look authentic and realistic. We wanted the waves of the  beach to be heard alone and we thought the silence in the bedroom scenes was essential. We have now finally decided we want to incorporate. a little bit of music during the beach scenes. This will help convey the happy and playful energy the sisters had whenever they were hanging out together.

The music site we will be searching sound from is called Epidemic Sounds. We are going to try and find any subtle but happy and playfully music that we can layer over the beach waves and beach sounds.

My partner went and looked into the “ Happy” mood section to find the best options for what we want.

CCR Research #1

Since we have finished over half of our portfolio project, we need to think about the CCR. The project's Creative Critical Reflection aspect is known as the CCR. We have to respond to four different questions in two separate digital forms for the CCR. A podcast, talk show, director commentary, or any other creative medium could be one of them.

Today I am going to be talking about question #1.

How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?

For this question it is important to:
  • Discuss genre conventions
  • Citing is always very important. Wherever you found your information. YOU NEED TO CITE YOUR SOURCE!!!!
  • Discuss if you chose to challenge the conventions or not.
  • Discuss if you chose to challenge the conventions or not.
  • Thoroughly explain your decision on why and how you chose to challenge these conventions.
  • End with representation.
  • How do these conventions represent the social groups or issues.

For the CCR my is to do a TikTok interview having my partner help me film. She will be like "today we are going around asking people what they have been up too", I am running or jogging se comes up and ask me "what have I been up to" then I start talking about my project. I haven't developed a full response to this question, but this is a rough draft:

Our film opening plays with the usual genre rules. First, we set a calm mood ocean sounds, that sort of thing. Then we switch to a digital camera for the beach scene, which gives off that “memory” or “flashback” vibe. Instead of going for the classic horror move with a creepy ghost, we made the younger sister look almost holy, kind of faded. That puts the focus on the connection between the sisters, not just the fear.

This whole setup dives into grief and loss. You see the older sister caught between her happy memories and what’s actually happening now. At the end, when the friend talks to the sister, it hits a nerve losing someone can make you feel cut off from everyone else. It really shines a light on how losing a loved one messes with your mental health.

Group Meeting #2

Hey Cambridge, yesterday in class, my teacher put us into groups and had us do a group meeting with my classmates. It actually went really well. Everyone came in with ideas, we listened to each other, and the meeting felt productive.

Each person shared a different story idea:

Julia said she was doing a suspense drama about a girl remembering her sister. As the film opening continues, she reveals her sister’s death and clues on a wall like a detective lead her toward confronting the person responsible for murdering her sister.

The next person was Taryn did a sci-fi idea about a deadly disease spreading across the world. Almost everyone dies, except for one survivor who ends up alone on a beach, trying to stay alive and figure out what comes next. She is going to do a flashback about her family and happy memories before the tragic event.

Caesar came up with a thriller where two friends are relaxing on the couch when the TV suddenly turns off. When it turns back on, there’s an emergency broadcast warning about a dangerous person nearby, and moments later, the door starts rattling.

Ella presented a teen drama about a girl who feels neglected by her parents. Her dad isn’t around, and her mom only provides a place to live. On her birthday, she plans everything herself and spends it alone, eventually learning to find herself through an important conversation.

Daniel’s idea was a coming-of-age story about a neglected teen. You never see the parents, but their absence is clear. The boy sneaks out his window, rebels, uses drugs, and runs away getting picked up by his friends.

Lastly, Andres shared a mystery adventure with two perspectives. One follows the antagonist, Shade, a well-known thief who steals for no clear reason. The other follows detectives trying to track him down and uncover why he does what he does, starting with Shade walking into a home.

Overall, the group meeting was successful, and for the CCR most of my classmates didn’t have an idea if what they wanted to do but they did say they were either going to do a podcast or talkshow most of them. I wanted to do a TikTok type of interview and make it serious, funny, and entertaining.

Production Process #2

First Day of Production

Today was our first day of filming, and it went really well. We got to the beach right at sunset, and the lighting was perfect. My partner couldn’t come because of a competition, but my friend from TV Production and AICE Media helped me, which made me way less stressed. At first, I was a little stressed thinking I’d have to handle everything on my own. But having my friends there made me feel way less overwhelmed. It reminded me how important it is to have a strong support system. Filming with my sister was my favorite part it felt natural and made me more comfortable on camera.

I came prepared with a shot list, so we stayed organized and got everything we needed. We also filmed on a digital camera at the end, but I might go back to redo a few shots since we did it last and the sun was down so it was dark.

Overall, it was a success, and I’m excited for what’s next.

Production Process#1

Obstacles & Issues Blog Post

My partner and I originally planned to film February 27–29, but those plans changed because I had to leave early for the Student Television Network (STN) competition. Since I was leaving on Thursday, filming during that time wasn’t possible, which caused a lot of stress.

We then tried to film on February 22, but I couldn’t film Saturday due to my last practice before traveling, and my partner couldn’t film Sunday because of her dance competition. At that point, I felt overwhelmed and worried about falling behind our schedule.

To solve this, I asked friends from TV Production and Aice Media to help me film, and they agreed, which was a huge relief. I also realized I hadn’t bought the white dresses yet, so I ordered them on Amazon to make sure they arrived in time.

Another issue was equipment. Because I had practice on Saturday, I couldn’t check out equipment from TV Production, so I borrowed a camera, tripod, and microphones from a program partnered with Cypress Bay High School called shortcuts which is sponsored Beckon High School.

After returning from STN on March 3, my partner and I will film at my house that same week, and I’ll be able to check out equipment from TV Production. Despite the stress, these obstacles pushed me to be flexible, communicate better, and problem-solve under pressure. I’m hoping everything works out well in the end!!

Blog of our choice

 Title

A very large and important part of any film is the title. The title catches people’s attention and ultimately is the way people remember and can tell others about a film. This is why it was quite difficult for my partner and I to choose a title for our film opening. We want it to be perfect.

Here are our top 3 title options we had:

    •    Echoes in the Tide

    •    Washed Away

    •    Where the Water Meets

We decided to go with “Washed Away” since we think the beach is going to be a very significant place for the characters so “Washed” plays around with the idea of waves at the beach. Since Lilly the younger sister passed away we decided “Washed Away” would be an interesting way to showcase this idea.

Honestly, it took a long time and we were going back and forth on this because we did like this title since the characters are playing in the beach. "Echoes in the Tide" sounded cool and “aesthetic”, but maybe a bit too fancy for the vibe we’re actually filming. Then "Where the Water Meets," we liked, but it felt like it was missing something. It didn't really tell you how the characters were feeling.

But when we said "Washed Away" out loud, it just fit. It’s got that double meaning we were looking for. On one hand, you’ve got the literal beach setting and the water constantly moving. On the other hand, it perfectly describes that empty feeling the characters have now that Lilly is gone. It’s like her presence was just swept out to sea.

We want the audience to feel that connection the second the title fades into the screen. Using "Washed" makes the beach feel like more than just a location since it is a of the grief. It’s simple, it’s catchy, and it really sums up the feeling of our opening scene. We are really excited now that we found a title, our project feels like a whole now. All we have to do now is the fun part. The filming!!!!!

Production Company Logo

Hey blog! For this post today my partner and I had to come up with a production company logo and name. We researched different titles from websites and asked a few friends about a production company name.

The process of coming up with our production company name took a while. At first, my partner and I searched through different websites, looking at examples of production company names. Because we were unsure of which name we anted or come up with, we also asked our friends to help come up with ideas for production company names. A friend jokingly suggested the name Aura Films and that’s when I got the idea for a production name. My partner and I said that Aura Films was too simple and common for the type of film we wanted to make. That suggestion made me to begin to think of an idea in my mind. I thought of the word Aurora instead of Aura which sounded more elegant to me. I liked how Aurora smoothly rolled off the tongue as compared to Aura. After deciding on Aurora Films, I looked it up to check whether the name was copyrighted and legitimate and not completely in use. Although I found that a production company named Aurora films. I did not want to scrap the idea completely as it closely fits our vision. To make the name more unique and professional, I decided to add the word Filmworks, resulting in Aurora Filmworks. Because we are working on a film and the idea came to mind. I felt like this made the name stand out more while still maintaining the elegance and cinematic feel that I was looking for. For the text we decided to go with white and a bold but elegant font. It was plain so we decided to add a glow and the top of the text to make it stand out a bit more. Including Filmworks in the name also gave it a more professional feel rather than being too simple like my panther and I said. In the end, this entire process went from a fun little inside joke to a creative but well thought out decision that fits the tone and style of our film perfectly.

Mise-en-scene element #2

Hey Cambridge! I’m excited to share my second post focusing on mise-en-scene. Today I’ll be talking about costume and props and how they help set the mood and show the relationship between the characters in my panther and I film opening.

Planning: Mise-en-Scene (Costume)

Costume will help show the relationship between the two sisters and the difference between settings. Like on the beach, they wear long flowy white dresses. It matches with how relaxed they seem there. They look angelic and happy by the ocean, and in my opinion, I think it fits in perfectly. I think that's the point of those dresses.

When they get back to the house, it changes a bit. The older sister picks plain stuff, neutral colors mostly. Nothing too showy. Simple outfits that go with a quieter feeling, emotional maybe.

The younger one does not switch as much. She might keep the white dress on when she appears in the bedroom scene It feels like she's holding onto that sunny time, even inside now. Not sure if that's exactly it, but it stands out. Those memories linger or something.

As for the friend it's the same as the sister except her shirt is brighter and less neutral compared to the older sister's outfit, she wears jeans and has on brighter accessions.

Planning: Mise-en-Scene (Props & Set Dressing)

Props and set dressing will be used to add meaning to the scenes. In the bedroom, photos of the two sisters will be placed on the wall to show their close bond without dialogue. Personal items in the room will make the setting feel realistic and lived in.

At the beach, props will be minimal, so the focus stays on the characters and their interaction. Items like a digital camera will be used to create a home-video feel and make the moments seem more personal and authentic.

Audio Plan

Audio Plan for Our Film Opening

For our film opening, my partner and I want sound to play a major role in how the audience feels before they fully understand what is happening in the film opening.

The opening begins with a black screen, where audio is used to immediately set the scene and spark curiosity. During this moment, the audience will hear ocean waves, distant talking, and seagulls. By using sound before visuals, we want viewers to imagine the setting themselves and start thinking about what kind of story is about to unfold.

We plan to add a subtle but tense sound effect after a few seconds. This adds to the tension and suggests that, even with the scene's noticeable peacefulness, something more darker or disturbing might be in the future . We are thinking of two unique musical approaches for the beach sequence. One choice is to symbolize innocence, freedom, and happy memories with calming, upbeat music. The second choice is to use light, tense music that sounds a lot like the theme song Poppy Playtime to convey a sense of unease beneath the joy and suggest that the plot might turn darker.

As the film transitions away from the beach, the audio will shift dramatically. A strong suspense sound effect the same one used in the beginning will be used to show this change in tone and setting. After this transition, there will be no music for a short while , allowing silence to build discomfort and focus the audience’s attention on the emotion of the moment. When the main character begins looking at pictures on the wall, sad and emotional music will slowly fade in. This music is meant to communicate feelings of loss, memory, and longing without using dialogue.

As the story becomes more unsettling and dramatic the younger sister’s presence feel less real. There will be a scene  where the younger sister places her hand on the older sister the music will continue playing to increase tension and emotional impact. Near the end of the opening, sound becomes especially important. The mix of music, silence, and subtle sound effects is used to confuse and unsettle the audience. When the sister turns around to see if her younger sibling is there there will be a sudden suspenseful sound effect.

This audio choice is meant to leave viewers with unanswered questions and a sense of unease, encouraging them to keep watching to understand the meaning behind what they heard. This audio plan may change as we continue developing our film opening, but our main goal is to use sound to guide the audience’s emotions and create suspense from the very beginning to the end.

Mise-en-scene element #1

Finding locations that work for each scene in the opening will be a key part of the planning process. I have a few places in mind that isn't necessarily hard to film or find.

Planning: Mise-en-Scene (Set)

For our film opening, we plan to film in two main locations: the beach and my house. These settings are important to the story and help show the contrast between the scenes.

For the beach scenes, we are considering a few locations such as Hollywood Beach and Fort Lauderdale Beach. The beach setting helps create a calm and happy atmosphere and represents freedom and connection between the two sisters. The open space, sand, and ocean will help make the scenes feel peaceful.

Hollywood beach
Fort Lauderdale Beach

The house will be used for the inside scenes. This setting contrasts with the beach and creates a more quiet and emotional mood. Filming in my house allows us to include personal items like photos on the wall, which helps make the story feel more realistic.

These locations were chosen to support the emotions and themes of our film opening.

Planning: Mise-en-Scene (Lighting)

For the beach scenes, we want to use bright, natural lighting to create vibrant colors. Filming during the day will help make the blues of the ocean and sky stand out and give the scenes an upbeat, happy feeling. The sunlight will show the warmth of the moments between the sisters and make the beach feel lively and full of life.

In the bedroom parts, colors are still there, just way softer and not as bright as on the beach. It feels like that makes a big difference for the mood. We are thinking about using light from the windows or a light kit to keep things calm and kind of emotional. The beach has all that happy, lively vibe with brighter stuff, but inside the house it turns more serious and reflective, so toning down the colors shows that switch pretty well.

That lighting difference sort of highlights how the feelings change between outside and inside, without messing up the overall look of the film. This helps everything come together seamlessly without having an unclear film opening.

Character Development

 Meet out characters:

Today I will be giving more insight of what our characters are for in our film opening.

Our main character is the older sister Meliyah.

Meliyah:

Meliyah is a 16 year old girl that lives in a Weston Florida. She lives with her mom and her sister and has a special bond with her sister. Her younger sister is named Lilly and has a calm but happy personality. Meliyah is usually not emotional driven but when it comes to her younger siblings she is dependent and protective. Meliyah was always very close to Lilly but since she has passed way she has not been herself and it has taken an emotional toll on her mental health.

Lilly:

Lilly is Meliyah’s 14 year old sister. Lilly has always looked up to Meliyah and always wanted to make her proud. She recently passed away to an unexpected car accident when she was out with her friends and now her family’s life has not been the same ever since.

Camila: Cami is Meliyah’s best friend. They met at school when they were in middle school and have been close ever since. Cami grew a bond to Lilly and knows how special she was to Meliyah and has been trying to help Meliyah navigate this new chapter of her life by distracting her and trying to get her to have fun everyday.

Media Theory

Recently! For my blog post my partner and I had to pick one media theory that matches well the film opening that will be produced, and I film opening the media theory I picked was the Active Audience Theory-Stuart Hall this theory explains audiences are engaged consumers who analyze media using their personal experiences and social contexts. Because audiences interpret messages to support their own beliefs while making sense of them based on what they have previously learned, the creator's message in mind may not be understood.

My partner and I figured the film opening should pull the audience in right away, make them think instead of just watching passively. We started with a black screen, nothing visual at all, but you hear these sounds like waves crashing and seagulls calling, plus some faint talking in the distance. It kind of forces people to picture the beach on their own before we show it.That setup ties into Stuart Halls idea about active audiences, you know, how people bring their own stuff to what they watch. Like, depending on what someone has gone through, they might imagine a sunny family beach or something lonelier when those sounds play. It does not lock into one meaning, which is the point.

Then the video is shown, and there are these two sisters running along the sand, shot on a regular digital camera so it looks real, not all fancy. I think that helps it feels closer to life. Later on, it shifts to the older sister by herself in her room, staring at some old photos on the wall with her sister reminiscing about her sister. Viewers have to fill in what that means, maybe it's a memory slipping away or just some emotional gap, it depends on them.

We did not want to spell everything out with explanations or anything. Sounds and those symbolic bits, like the sound effects, leave room for interpretation. It seems like that really lines up with Halls theory, audiences making their own sense of things. Some might miss how the sounds set it up, but others could connect it deeper. Overall, it's about letting people participate in the story.

Story board and Script

Hey blog! Storyboarding is the next step in my project. Even though I’m not very good at sketching, storyboards it can help with visualize and organizing your thoughts. They are useful not just for organizing your thoughts during the pre-production phase but also throughout the actual production. Having your storyboard might be like having a guide while you are filming. You may become overwhelmed and unsure of what shots you need, what to record, etc. A storyboard, on the other hand, can assist you choose which shots you felt were effective and which shots had specific purposes in developing the plot.

Today my partner and I worked on our story board and script here is what we have…

Storyboard:

Script:
Beach scene:

Older sister: "Come on Lilly"

Younger Sister: "Wait up"

Older Sister: "Okay Okay I'll slow down"

Bedroom scene:

Older sister friend: " Hey what are you doing, we're gonna be late"

Older sister: "Sorry I’m coming"

Film opening and plot idea

Today! My partner and I finally got the idea if what the plot is going to be for our film opening and what’s it’s going to be about.

Idea:

The first shot is going to be a black screen and after a few second after it will then reveal the title. We do not have a title as yet but in the background you can hear wave, talking, ocean waves, and seagulls. My  partner and I wanted people to visualize what the settings will look like before seeing it. I wanted the viewers to be curious and thinking of what scene could possibly be.

The opening shot is going to be an older sister and a younger sister running in the sand you can still hear the background. The first shot is also on a digital camera giving a visual of her and her sister having fun then on the bottom there will be one credit that will be shown. Then the next shot will be cutting to different shots of them on the beach. We will try to use the rule of thirds to better incorporate the credits.

The next scene will take place at a house. The older sister is looking at herself in the mirror. It fits to a tracking shot of her walking Iver to her bed and then she looks at pictures of her and her sister on the wall.  This will include close ups of her looks of her looking at the pictures.

The next scene is her sister reaching out to her but her hand is faded or holy this shot is an over the shoulder shot. Then she looks back and it’s a wide but no one is there.

The finally shot would be her friend opening the door asking “ what are you doing.” But t the same tie, the younger sister would be next to her friend also asking “what are you doing”. This is a generally idea of what we have planned for our film opening there might be changes along the way but this is mainly what we will be trying to follow. I will keep the blog updated if any changes are made.

Inspiration:

The inspiration was for a music video that was produced by our schools tv production students. The music  video incorporated vibrant and vivid shots of the beach which we really liked and we wanted to have a visual somewhat similar.  The whole music video colorful and I loved the many different shots they incorporated.

Group Meeting #1

Group Meeting #1

Hello, blog! I am now in my third week of my project. My teacher planned group meetings in the classroom today. I was divided into a group with seven other students for this meeting, and the primary goal was to exchange story ideas and gain insight from each other's perspectives.

My group included my classmates Trisha, Samual, Selena, Avery, Sonakshi, Ethan, and Christian. Trisha was the first to speak and asked everyone individually about their genre we all choose. Most pf use did thriller, mystery, and drama. Samual was the first to present his idea, which was being taken place in the hospital he stated his mom works in the medical field, so his group wanted to do a scene with a doctor and medicine. He wasn't 100% sure about this idea since the teacher wasn't the biggest fan. The idea as I recalled was about three guys who were going to do something medical related.

In addition, the next person to go was Christian his genre was thriller and him and his group decided for their idea to do a story about how they get out of the car and there’s a bag in the road.  Three people come out of the car and see what’s in the bag. The other person is still in the car wondering. We gave him an idea as they can have a glow to the bag and leave us with a cliffhanger like what's in the bag, we also said like they can act surprised, so the audience wonders what truly happened after. One of the girls Selena had an idea were the bag they open can be like a portal they can go through which I thought was pretty cool.

The next person was Sonakshi, I actually liked her idea I thought it was creative having taken place in a library the person is getting books and overlapping of the liberin to portray an overwhelming feeling. She said she wanted to create a phycological scene and make the viewers uncomeatable with all the overlapping of the sounds. We asked her how she'll end it and she said she will figure it out I'm excited to see what she comes up with! Additionally, I went after and my idea was an older sister reminiscing about her younger sister who has passed away so I wanted to incorporate sound in the beginning with a black screen to have the viewers just listen and imagine the scene the show the actual scene after. They gave me great ideas how to end it off like a cliffhanger Trisha said the character could be reminiscing about her sister could take place in the bedroom they said my idea falls under the drama, phycological mystery. The credit scene I want to use the lower thirds and rule of thirds for the credits another idea by Samuel is at the end have the younger sister is touch the older sister but her and is faded or holly. I think their ideas are great for my piece and I'm really excited about how it will turn out.

For the genre Selena went with who was after me was horror and thriller. Her and her panther wanted it to be taken pace in a forest she has on headphones listening to music oblivious to what's around her she said the audio will be muffled. The character then gets chased by a figure, but the audience can't see the figure but knows it's there which I think is interesting. She said she wanted something supernatural which I wonder how that will pay out. This reminds me of the movie "I know what you did last summer", because in the movie the characters are being killed one by one but doesn't know who it is and how they know it was them who killed someone.

Avery was next her genre was thriller, mystery, and suspense. It was about a normal high school girl at practice and a football player this has no romantic and at practice they give each other looks it will transition to her at home, and you think she’s normal, but she is packing drugs in a black bag.  The cheer bag will be next to the drug bag to show the contrast between the character. The football player is waiting outside. Which will leave the viewers like what just happened they knew each other the whole time. I liked this idea as well I added that to transition from her at practice to her home she can have like her phone ringing from her cheer bag and the diegetic sound of the ringing transitions to her phone ringing at home too and she picked it up. For the credits I said you can put one of the credits on her cheer bag and then she picks it up just wanted to put that out there and they really liked the idea. Adding on was Thrisa her genre was paranormal thriller and it's about a girl is on her computer you see her friend she’s talking to her friend and it has notification popping up she gets a notification from her ring camera but no one is there and she said it’s been happening a lot, she gets into the car and something is off. She said weird things happen like the lights flickering her phone not working and etc. Her idea was something with like the technology being evil like AI so she wanted to have the Alexa say something mean r evil and I had an idea saying that she could use an AI generated voice for Alexa and just have the Alexa turn on so it looks like it was talking. They want to make the villain like a robot.

Lastly, Ethan I thought his idea was very different than anything I've heard from the group, and his genre was sci-fi it’s going to be stop motion which I think is pretty cool it's about an astronaut on a rocket and it breaks and there is a problem in space, and they will fix it. The lighting might be the problem he said, but after talking to the group we all collectively agreed that the lighting would be fine because in my opinion it makes it look more realistic having the lighting look or move in different scenes. He also said he will be using stick Bot for the character. We all said he should show us his project, and I honestly think he should his idea seems so cool and he is building everything from scratch which is a lot of work and very impressive.

Research Blog Topic

Hey Cambridge!! So today we had to choose from a blog topic list and there were so many different topics to choose from to write about. I decided to go with costuming options because I have a perfect idea of how I want the characters in my film opening to wear that represents them.

Costume Ideas:

My first idea is for the main character and her sister. These two characters I would like for them to have white flowy long dresses this represents purity because as the film opening progresses you can see way the decision of white flowy dresses is important. The white dresses show how the characters are angelic and innocent. This is being taken place in a beach, so I think the white dresses is perfect for the setting. There will be side characters like friends, and they will be wearing colors like black, red, and general dark colors instead of light colors such as white, yellow, and orange. This is because these characters aren't psychically unstable, so the colors represent a sense of seriousness and boldness. The use of these colors as the opening processes viewers will get a sense that the white dresses shown in the begins and the color getting dark will leave the viewers asking why it got so dark and what happened? This is all part of the costume designing so hopefully everything comes along as planned.

My second idea was very different; it's a kid who is in high school I'm not exactly sure what the idea is but I'm sure I want it to be taken either at home or school. For the costume design it will be causal, clothing that teens wear like, sweaters, hoodies, leggings. Basic wear on an everyday basis for shoes just causal shoes. The clothes are either neutral or colorful which will set the atmosphere.

To sum it up, both ideas incorporate different aesthetics but it all they will be causal and not over the top with the costume options. It is simple but shows character and I am very excited to see which option I decide to go with in the future. I am thrilled but nervous as well, I definitely do want to have casual simple designs.
